Hello June



 
The scent of wild honeysuckle has to be one of the best smells in the world.



What’s a better way to celebrate the beginning of June than with homemade ice cream! I attempted to make spearmint ice cream, with fresh spearmint from my herb garden. I’m actually quite surprised the machine cooperated and mixed it together properly. It's usually temperamental and doesn’t work very well.
Anyways, it tastes delicious! The spearmint flavor isn’t too overpowering and it isn’t very sugary.  I’ll have to go and explore some other flavors now. Coffee, strawberry, lavender….so many options.
